Frequently Asked Questions
-
Of course! I’m always happy to sit down with prospective clients, either in person or over a video call, so that we have a chance to get to know each other and discuss your priorities and preferences before you commit to a booking. Simply fill in the contact form above and I’ll be in touch to arrange a no-obligation consult at a time to suit you.
-
As soon as possible, especially if you’re getting married during a peak period such as over the summer or on a weekend, as dates can fill up quickly. That said, I’m always happy to take on last minute bookings as long as I’m available, so don’t hesitate to reach out even if you think you might be too late.
-
I typically set up a group chat with all my couples, so we have an easy space to share updates, ask questions, and generally stay in touch before the big day. My services are fully flexible and fit around you, so you’re free to make as many changes to your photography coverage as needed during the planning stages.
-
Absolutely. All my equipment is meticulously maintained and insured, and I have Public Liability cover up to £5 million. It’s very common for venues to need to see copies of insurance for any vendors working on-site, so I’m always happy to send a copy of my documentation over as required.
-
Only if you want to! It’s always an honour to be invited to share your wedding breakfast with you and your guests, but please don’t feel obligated to include me in your catering number unless your venue requires it. I always come armed with plenty of snacks in my camera bag to help keep me going through a long day of shooting.
-
Like most photographers, I always love to include images from previous weddings in my public portfolio so prospective clients can see my work; that said, if you or any of your guests would rather the photos weren’t shared publicly, just let me know and I’ll be more than happy to ensure they stay private.
-
Only if you’re happy for them to! Helping a couple enjoy the perfect wedding day is a team sport, and it’s common for vendors to work together and share their resources. I’m always happy to give other vendors the right to use some of my photos to promote their business, but this will never be done without the full consent of the couple.
-
Thankfully, this is an incredibly rare occurrence. I use dual memory cameras, physical hard drives, and secure cloud storage to ensure your images are safely backed up from the moment they’re taken until they’re delivered to you, and I keep archived copies of all my wedding images for at least a year to make sure you won’t lose access.
